Karoline Schmidtgall Baisch, 89, of American Falls, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Monte Vista Hills Healthcare Center in Pocatello after a long illness.
She was born May 9, 1924 in Aberdeen, ID, the daughter of Henry and Amalia Huva Schmidtgall. She spent most of her childhood in the Aberdeen and Pleasant Valley area.
On April 23, 1943, she married Robert Lawrence Baisch from American Falls. They had one son, Dale.
She is survived by her son, Dale (Rochelle) Baisch of American Falls; three grandchildren, Shannon (Christian) Simmons, Jeremiah (Angela) Baisch and Jessica Baisch, all of Pocatello; three great-grandchildren, Hayley Baisch, Bryson Simmons and Cooper Baisch; one sister, Mary Eierman of Townsend, MT.
Karoline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob, and a granddaughter, Molly, one brother and three sisters.
A viewing will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
A graveside service will follow the viewing at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.
