Having lived a long and fulfilling life, our Heavenly Father has called our Mom, Ruby Marie Anderson, home to be reunited with her husband of 61 years, Earl Anderson; her son, Barry; daughters, Earline, Luana and Vickie; her sister Norma (Lawrence Lewis); three cousins that her parents raised, Bill, Florence and Rose; and her parents, John and Virginia Parsons.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Doug (Rosa), Mike (Becky), Dallan (Vickie), Jeff (Lyona); daughters, Sue Frisk, Tammy Irvine and Connie Anderton; half-sisters, Sherry (Mike Willard), Barbara Parsons and Rose (John Willard); sons-in-law, Jim Nilsson and Philip Davis.
The most “Precious Gifts” call her Grandma. She has 42 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It brought comfort and peace into her everyday life. She loved serving the Lord and did so through the many callings she had over the years.
Raising 11 children was a full time job and she was great at it. She still found time to go fishing, camping and traveling.
The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aberdeen Second Ward. The visitation was from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
