Casey John Baker, 56, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at his home in Pocatello of natural causes. He was born on Dec. 13, 1957.
Casey lived his life like he rode his motorcycle, fast, reckless, and full of passion. He was a charming man with the quickest wit and a great sense of humor. Early in life he served in the Army as a helicopter mechanic and later worked with his brothers in irrigation. After retiring, he could be found on the back of his Harley Davidson on poker runs and the back roads of Idaho.
Casey struggled through life but endured, a stubborn man through and through. He rocked and he rolled. He had a story for every occasion. He was a personable man, quick to befriend and quick to help friends in need. He had many friends, and as he would say, “more friends than I know what to do with,” friends he now leaves behind.
He is survived by his two children, Martin and Mariah Baker, his two brothers, Greg and Mitch Baker, and his dog, Dyna.
He was preceded in death by nephew, Shawn Baker, and his parents, John Baker and John and Helen Mehlhaff.
Arrangements are being made by his children with the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave., Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500.
