Regina Maxine Stroschein Line, 77, of Aberdeen, Idaho passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Regina was born January 20, 1937 in American Falls, Idaho to Earl H. Stroschein and Uva Gertrude Miller. She lived her lifetime in Aberdeen. She attended grade school at St. Margaret’s in Blackfoot and graduated from Aberdeen High School. She attended Gonzaga University in Spokane for her Office Administration Degree.
On May 17, 1958 Regina married Richard Line in the Aberdeen Catholic Church. They were divorced after 40 years of marriage.
Regina was an active member of the Roman Catholic Church.
She was a secretary for Health West for over 20 years and drove truck for Craig Hansen during the harvest in early years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Alter Society, the Aberdeen Women’s Club and was on the board with Fairview Estates and the Senior Citizens of Aberdeen. In her free time, she enjoyed playing the piano, shopping, gardening, watching hummingbirds and chatting with her friends. Her greatest love was her family and grandkids.
Regina is survived by her sons, Tony (Vickie) Line of Decker Montana, Leo Line of Blackfoot and Randy (Lana) Line of Blackfoot; daughter, Debbie (Brian) Nugent of Aberdeen; brothers, Paul (Virginia) Stroschein of Rupert and Earl Stroschein of Lewiston; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Aberdeen, Idaho.
A Rosary Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. The family will continue to visit with friends following the Rosary until 8 p.m. the family will also meet friends for an hour prior to services in Aberdeen at the Church on Monday.
Interment will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
