The Willow Bay Baptist Church Food bank will be open this Saturday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon to serve those families that are currently experiencing a food emergency.
The food bank is here to help meet the food needs of those affected by unemployment, under-employment, income shortages or other overwhelming need.
Food variety and amount availability are dependent on donation levels and resources available through the Idaho Food bank and may differ from month to month.
Some clothing items are also available, free of charge.
Over the course of the past two years the Willow Bay Baptist Church Food bank has distributed over 125,000 pounds of food to those in need in Power County.
