Dotti Palmer Green passed away Monday, March 23, 2015. She was born Friday, Sept. 13, 1929, in Fitchburg, MA. Her parents were George and Blanche Hughes. She was the eighth of ten children.
She married Billie Francis Palmer on March 19, 1955. While Bill was in the U.S. Army they lived in Turkey, Germany and Japan as well as many locations in the U.S.A. Together they had two children, Victoria and Billie Paul. She had one son, Archie, from a previous marriage.
Dotti is survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and one sister.
She married Cameron Green while both were residents in the Pocatello Veterans Home.
Dotti showed her patriotism by carrying flags in parades, helping with flags and crosses in local cemeteries and with Memorial Day ceremonies. She always would take part in anything veteran-related.
Dotti touched the lives of many in the American Falls community. She was a 35-year faithful member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 3 in American Falls. Her dedication and loving ways will be missed by many.
