Joseph (Joe) Hueter passed away Oct. 30, 2015, at the Power County Hospital after a three-year-battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Spokane, WA, June 23, 1951. While still in high school and through college years Joe began his life-long career of radio broadcasting. He later moved to Boise and worked for radio stations KBOI, 93.5 Downtown, Newstalk 670 and Kissin 103.5. Joe was happiest broadcasting BSU games, hosting his own talk radio show and broadcasting the classic rock programs.
Joe loved the outdoors, traveling and writing poetry. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Lenore and brother Gordon. He is survived by his children Chad, Jeremy, Chelsea and four grandchildren, along with his brothers Larry, Dell and Kenny.
Joe’s witty, gentle and generous nature will be sorely missed by many. None will miss him more than his soul mate and companion Carol Jones. It’s only a few short steps to cross that bridge Joe. See you soon.
