Eileen Betty Twitchell

Eileen Betty Twitchell, 86, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at home.

Eileen was born on July 13, 1930, the daughter of Christian and Hilda Bauer in Carson, North Dakota. She had three brothers, Lester, Don and Kenny, and one sister, Judy.

She married Dale Twitchell on Dec. 26, 1948 in Ely, Nevada. Together they raised six children, Judy, Betty, Max, Luan, Dale and Jeanetta.

Eileen was a housewife and loved her kids. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, but especially spending time with family. She and Dale lived the country life in American Falls from 1973 to 1990. They then moved to Pocatello to be closer to family.

Eileen is survived by her children, Betty (Ron) Nelson, Max Whiteus and Larry Ourada, Luan (Larry) Wells, Dale (Kathy) Twitchell, Jeanetta (Brett) Huse; 16 grandchildren, Lester Jr., Angela, Cody, David (Jeni), Tammie, Randy, Tanya, Shy, April, Kelli, Jason, Jake, Brittney, Amber, Jonathan, Justin; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale; daughter, Judy; brothers, Lester and Don; and her parents. Graveside services were held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave., Pocatello, ID 83204.
