Nathan Allan Knutsen was born June 25 1950 in Twin Falls, ID, to Nathan William and Afton Udean Knutsen. He passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 in Pocatello, ID.
As a young child he loved visiting Wendell with grandparents and herding sheep with his uncles. In his recreation time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. At an early age he took on the responsibility of his two younger brothers Eldon Jay and Eric Wayne.
He married Sarah Amber and they had one son, David Aarron, later divorced and a few years later married Connie Milner. They had three kids, Natasha Kaye, Nathan Chris and Sabrina Knutsen-Larsen. He was a proud grandfather of Corina Mae Larsen, Anakin A.J Larsen, Dasha Cozad, Christopher Cozad, Nicki Hunt, John Hunt II, Darrell Stanvig, and Nathan Stanvig.
He worked at the school district in both Twin Falls and Pocatello, ID, where he was a custodian. He was a very hard worker, admired by all. He lived a wonderful and full life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Afton Udean and Nathan William Knutsen; sister, Caroline; and brother, Eric Wayne.
He is survived by wife, Connie Knutsen of American Falls; four children, David of Filer, Natasha, Chris and Sabrina Knutsen-Larsen (Corey), all of whom are in American Falls; stepdaughter, Danielle King (Richard) of Albany, OR, and stepson, Jeff Milner of Nevada; his sister, Claudia Johnson (Kenneth) of Shelley, ID, and brother, Eldon Knutsen (Tanya) of Twin Falls. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Davis Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St., American Falls, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.davisrosemortuary.com.
