Joyce (Parsons) Becker

In loving memory of Joyce (Parsons) Becker.
Joyce was born May 14, 1930 in Sterling, ID, to Guy and Afton Parsons. She passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 in Farmersville, TX. In 1947 she married her sweetheart Dean Becker. They lived in Aberdeen and then moved to Wyoming. They later moved back to Idaho and then to Phoenix, AZ.
Joyce is survived by three of her six children: Janice (Steve) Morris of Aberdeen, Tony (Donna) Becker of Phoenix, and Kevin (Seth) Becker Farmersville. She was grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; sons, Guy, Alan and Gary; her parents; and her sisters, Arlene Bray and Elaine Prescott.
Mom always said she lived a good life. She saw and did everything she wanted. She had fond memories of growing up with her Nugent and Parsons cousins in Sterling. She and Dad spent many days camping with the boat people in Arizona. And she loved living with her friends in the compound (senior housing) in Aberdeen. But she especially loved being with her children and all her grandchildren.
She left a void in our hearts and a big pair of shoes to fill.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
