The Aberdeen High School boys track team traveled to Arco on Tuesday, April 18, for the Fred Simpson Invitational, another large track meet at Butte County High School, with 15 other teams in attendance. The Aberdeen boys came out on top with 112 points (in spite of having a few athletes absent, including Cale Adamson). Butte County was second place with 111 points. Rockland placed third with 84 points, Salmon was fourth with 75.5 points, Hansen placed fifth with 66 points, Murtaugh was sixth with 55 points, Ririe seventh with 40 points, Carey was eighth with 37 points, Castleford had 33 points for ninth place, Challis had 32.5 points for tenth place, Leadore was eleventh place with 16 points, Mackay was twelfth place with 7 points, South Fremont came in thirteenth with 3 points and Watersprings was fourteenth with 3 points. …
