William Robert Mueller passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023. He was born on Aug. 11, 1943 to William F. and Veda Pearl Mueller in Stibnite, ID.
He attended school at Pocatello High School, then in 1962 he served in the United States Navy. While in the Navy he served in Vietnam, earning medals for his exemplary service.
In 1965 he married the love of his life Marva Jean Christensen, and they were blessed with two daughters, Machelle and Sherrie.
Bill worked for the J.R. Simplot Food Group for over 30 years. After retirement he always found odd jobs to do, keeping himself busy.
Bob had a witty sense of humor, and everyone loved being around him. He could bring laughter to a whole room. He is deeply loved by his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marva Jean Mueller; his daughter Sherrie; brother Glenn Mueller; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren with three more on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents William F. and Veda Pearl; sister Shirley Merrill; daughter Machelle Horton.
A viewing was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Davis-Rose Mortuary in American Falls. Another viewing was from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Aberdeen.
