Ferrol “Boots” Glascock 6-12-24

Ferrol Vernon Glascock 1938-2024
Ferrol was born in Salmon, ID, on July 10, 1938 to his parents, Vern and Iris Glascock, who have preceded him in passing, as has an older brother, Thell, who died in 2000.
Ferrol led a very busy life, never letting a moment go by without jumping in the middle of it. He was highly competitive, and wasn’t prone to lose much. When he did everyone knew it.
After moving around a lot with his parents, he made a more permanent move by joining the Navy. He served on Submarines, Aircraft Carriers, and even a Seagoing Tug. Because Ferrol was an excellent fast pitch softball pitcher, he seemed to get the desired assignments.
After serving eight years in the Navy, Ferrol went into a career in electrical construction. He worked in various factions of the electrical industry until retiring, back around 2000. As in life before retirement, Ferrol remained active in marathon running, hunting, fishing, bowling, car racing, and more.
He never let life pass him by and loved coming back to American Falls, where he lived for a while, to visit with family and friends. Ferrol and his first wife, Francis Jean, had three children, David, Christene, and Michelle. Together they had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ferrol leaves his current wife Toni, her two children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The graveside service will be Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls. There will be refreshments and desserts at the American Falls District Library following the graveside service.
