John L. Savage, a resident of Blackfoot, ID, was born in Reno, NV, on April 18, 1974 and passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 after a lengthy illness.
He attended schools in American Falls, ID, and Blackfoot, ID, as well as various military special trainings. He was a veteran of the United States Army and employed in various police and security efforts in the state of Idaho.
He was preceded in death by grandparents from both Savage and Hutchison sides of the family, as well as uncles Leonard Hutchison and Daniel Savage. He is survived by his mother Juanita Hutchison of Blackfoot, and father Dave (Nora) Savage of American Falls. He is also survived by his brother, Pete (Sarah) Savage of Blackfoot and nephews Sturm and Durin Savage also of Blackfoot, as well as stepbrothers Kurtis (Havilah) Workman of Glenns Ferry and Spencer Snow of Rigby. In addition, his uncle John (Nancee) Hutchison of Chattanooga, TN, and aunts Paulette Hutchison of Pahrump, NV, and Inez (Kelly) Bingham also of Blackfoot. Other survivors in addition to the immediate families are numerous cousins and second cousins from the Hutchinson, Baker and Bingham families now scattered throughout the country.
His burial arrangements are being made by Hawker Funeral Home of Blackfoot.
He was loved by all that knew him.
