Wesley Alden (Herb) Bush passed away on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, at home surrounded by his family after a valiant fight with bladder cancer. Wes was born on July 29, 1961 in Pocatello, ID, the second child of Wesley M. Bush and Donna Lee Eames Bush.
He grew up in American Falls and graduated from American Falls High School in 1979. He was active in football and wrestling. He loved dirt bike riding and racing.
In March of 1981 he married Lena Clemens and they had two daughters, Chaune and Sara.
They divorced in 1999.
In 2007 he married Michelle Thomas and gained three more children.
He was an electrician by trade and enjoyed his work and was very good at it. He worked for Arco Electric in Idaho Falls for many years and then settled in the Boise area and for the last 17 years worked for Micron Technologies, where he was currently employed.
Wes was an easy going, gentle person and made friends wherever he was.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley M. Bush; grandparents, John A. and Grace Higgins Bush, Vern E. and Clothiel Hansen Eames.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; his mother, Donna Bush; his siblings, Debra (Blaine) Udy and Keith R. Bush. His legacy will be kept strong by his children, Chaune (Dan) Turner, Sara (Matt) Scott; his bonus children, Jennifer (John) Acala, Brian Thomas and Sarah (Lawrence) Colibas; as well as his five grandchildren, Eliana, Ava, Olivia, Bella and Gwen; and six bonus grandchildren, Anthony, Kenzie, James, Gracie, Kasen and Ethan.
There was a service to celebrate his life on Monday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. at Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cloverdale Road in Boise. Interment was at Cloverdale Cemetery.
