On March 12, 2023, Nikolas Mateo Tamez passed away. Niko was born in Pocatello, ID, on Sept. 28, 1999. He was the youngest of three children born to Aleshia Cagle-Aguilera and “Tony” T. Tamez Jr.
Niko loved hiking, beading and music. He loved his daughter more than anything, and she loves him the same.
Niko is survived by his daughter Kamila Sage Tamez, his mom, Aleshia Cagle Aguilera (Eric Fletcher), dad, Tony Tamez Jr., siblings, Tristan R. Tamez, Madalyn Hubbs (Devoughnta Hamlin), Brayden Kerr, Isabella Hubbs, Jacob Hubbs, his grandmothers Julia Cagle and Dominga Tamez, aunts and uncles, Jenifer Cagle, Imelda Ramos (Benito), Angelia Cagle and Darwin Cagle (Michelle), nephews, Luziano and Emilliano Tamez and Lil King Hamlin.
He is preceded in death by his grandpas, Ray Cagle and Antonio Tamez Sr., and his uncle Patrick K. Cagle.
A celebration of life was held from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday March 21, at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho Street, American Falls, ID. Inurnment followed at the Falls View Cemetery at 2 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.davisrosemortuary.com.
