Michael David Eames 8-2-23

Michael David Eames, 76, of Pocatello passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Veteran’s Home in Pocatello, ID.
Michael was born June 7, 1947 to Vern Eames and Clothiel Hanson Eames in American Falls. Michael graduated from American Falls High School in 1966.
He was drafted into the service (army) in 1968, where he served in Vietnam.
Michael married Gayle Ann Goff in Elko, NV, in January of 1977. Together they had four children, Shane, Chris, Curtis and Michelle. Mike took a job in Utah in 1973 and they lived there until 1985 when they moved back to Pocatello.
He is survived by his children, three sons, Shane, Chris and Curtis, and one daughter, Michelle, all of Pocatello. Michael lost his wife on Dec. 18, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle Ann Goff; his parents, Vern Edwin Eames Sr. and Clothiel (Hanson) Eames; his siblings, Shirley (Bill) Liese, Vern Jr. (Cleo) Eames, Joyce (Robert) Hall, Elizabeth Ann (ZL) Pearson, Jack (JoAnn) Eames, Susan (Dick) Green, Charles Eames.
He is survived by his siblings Donna (Wes) Bush, Valorie (Barry) Williams, Robert (Sharon) Eames.
At his request, he was cremated and his ashes were spread by family in Knox Canyon in Arbon Valley.
