Teri Renee Goodin Wilson 7-31-24

Teri was born Feb. 25, 1963 in San Diego, CA. Teri lived in Richmond with her parents, Mel and Cecelia Goodin, as well as her two sisters Marie Michelle and April.
In 1970 the family moved to Vacaville. Teri went to school at Alamo Elementary, Vacaville Christian Academy Junior High and then Vacaville High School, where she graduated early in 1980.
Teri always wanted to go into law enforcement so she joined the Vacaville police cadets until she graduated high school. Teri then put herself through the police academy and started as a reserve officer for Suisun City PD. It was there she also started dispatching and is what her career was in until she retired from Vallejo PD.
Teri was married to Ross Wilson in 1994 and had three children: Ryan Gordon, Sierra Wilson and Alex Wilson.
Teri moved to American Falls after she retired and got involved with the Little Theater, Impressions and Designs and Power House Church. She met many people in her short time.
Teri passed away in Fairfield, CA, on Sunday, July 7, 2024. She was preceded by both sets of grandparents, Charlie and Dimples Goodin and Charles and Mary Loyd. Also her sister, Mari Michelle “Mickey” Marino and nephew Cody Hall.
Teri is survived by her parents Mel and Cecelia Goodin of American Falls; husband Ross Wilson of Vacaville, CA; children Ryan Gordon of Dixon, CA, Sierra Wilson of American Falls, and Alex Wilson of Vacaville, CA; sister April Sammons (Richard) of American Falls; also eight nieces and three nephews, as well as 16 great-nieces and nephews; countless friends and co-workers.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday, Aug. 3, at 4 p.m. being held at Power House Church.
