Marlene M. Allen, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 in Boise, ID. She was 87 years old.
Marlene was born in Salt Lake City, UT, to Henry and Marie Martensen on Oct. 20, 1936. Marlene married Joseph E. Allen on Jan. 6, 1962. Marlene was a nurse and worked at Harms Memorial Hospital in American Falls for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling at Melody Lanes for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe and her daughter Debra Allen. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Crosby of Donnelly, ID, and her son David of Boise. 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct 18, at 10 a.m. at a Boise funeral home, 8209 Fairview, Boise, ID. Interment will be at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
