Traci Ann Jackson passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024 at her home in North Bend, OR.
She was born on August 8, 1980 in Blackfoot, ID, to Douglas and Janice Jackson. She grew up in Springfield and attended school in Aberdeen where she graduated in 1992.
Traci completed massage therapy school in Salt Lake City, but discovered unfortunately she didn’t like touching people. She then moved to North Bend and helped her sister with her property management business. Her brother-in-law needed help in starting his business and soon found Traci a very capable, hardworking and knowledgeable asset to his company. Traci moved on to working in a doctor’s office where she learned to love her patients, so much so that she couldn’t bear when they passed away. Her final stop was Bay Area Hospital where she finally found her niche. Traci worked as the unit secretary in the OR. She loved her job and the people she worked with.
Traci never married and adored being an Auntie nanny to her nieces and nephews. She loved spending time crafting with her sister Kayla and always had a handmade card in her purse just in case. She enjoyed cooking and baking with her niece Isabella, and attending the many sports events with her nephew Peyton. Traci looked forward to spending Sunday with her family and having dinner and watching football. She made a mean lasagna.
Traci was preceded in death by her father Douglas Jackson, her stepmother Elaine, and her stepfather Steve Morris.
She is survived by her mother Janice Morris, her brothers Richard (Ranae) Jackson, Martin (JiHyun) Jackson and Kyle (Jamie) Jackson, her sisters JoDene (Fidel) Velasquez, JuLene (Mehrdad) Gerami, Tami (Brian) Bennett, and Kayla (Jeff) Forester, step-sisters Sandi (Matt) Lehman and Melissa (Raun) Kirsch, 20 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Traci scattered love and sunshine every where she went.
