Roger Dean Rowe, born Sept. 7, 1937, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at the age of 77.
He is survived by: his five children, Sandra Hill, Dorenda Carlson/Mark, Robert Rowe, Rachelle Balderston, Carol Ralstin/Reed; eight loving grandchildren; and five great-grandsons.
Born in American Falls, ID, to Thomas G. Rowe and Lila Farnham, Roger was the youngest of nine children. He is survived by siblings Emma Jean Leydet, Betty Cox and Jerry Rowe.
He performed four years of active duty service in the United States Air Force and over 32 years as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA. An extremely proud father, Roger loved his family more than anything else in his life. He was also surrounded by so many dear friends that he would do anything for. He was an avid hunter and fisherman his entire life and he also loved his garden. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Military funeral honors will be held at Tacoma National Cemetery in Kent at 2:30 p.m. sharp on Friday, Sept 4. There will be a celebration of his life following the service. Directions will be provided at the ceremony.
