Terry Glen Rawson, age 65 of Nampa, ID, died Wednesday, Sept. 9. He was born June 3, 1950 in Burley, ID, the son of Merlyn Edward Rawson and Mable Seal.
After Terry was born, the family moved to Rockland, ID. Terry lived in Rockland until he graduated from high school. He was very loved and supported by the families and friends he came to know in Rockland, and his children would like to express their gratitude to all of them. They were later divorced. For the majority of his life he worked in the mortuary business as well as sales management, in which he received many awards.
Terry was known for his outgoing personality, love of his family, intelligence, giving to others in need, enjoying the outdoors, and making people laugh. He was very talented in writing, drawing, cooking, and poetry. In fact, he had several poems published. He was a great organizer and helped organize the Rockland Booster Club.
He had a strong conviction of God and his son, Jesus Christ, and expressed his feelings often through his writings. He was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by one son, Glen and Serpil Rawson of Boise; two daughters, Errika and Tony DeVall of Eagle; and Jolynn and James Hunt of Boise; one sister, Colleen Bench of Jerome; three brothers, Merlyn and Jani Rawson of Newport, OR; Richard Rawson of Boise; and Gary Rawson of Linn, OR.
